When logged into Pozz, if you look at the Contact Page settings for your website, you should see a new setting that looks like this: -

If you have added your establishment to Plak, and your Pozz website relates to that Plak, you can enter the Plak ID and update your website’s contact details. Please make sure that you enter the correct Plak ID, otherwise you’ll end up displaying the wrong information!

The result: the contact page of your Pozz website will now display the same Google map that is displayed for your Plak: -

Pozz has specifically been designed to be as simple as possible, yet it is still powerful enough to meet the needs of those who want, or need, a simple website.

Pozz offers a typical five page website: Home, About, Contact, Gallery and “Other” pages, where the “Other” page can be titled to suit the particular needs of whoever created the site. The About and Gallery pages are disabled automatically, if they aren’t used. While the Contact and Other pages can be enabled or disabled manually. There is no limit to the number of images that can be displayed on the Gallery page. All images uploaded into the Gallery are automatically resized to a maximum width of 640 pixels. Each Gallery image can have its own caption.

The Home, About and “Other” pages can optionally display a single uploaded image. The image uploaded for these page is automatically resized to a maximum width of 500 pixels, and each of these images can have its own caption. Additional images can be “hot linked” into these pages, if you know how to do it.

Global configuration

Pozz allows each of the following to be configured for the entire website: -

1. The website title.
2. The alignment of the website title. i.e. Left, centre, or right.
3. The colour of the website title text.
4. The page background colour.
5. The header background colour (not used if a header image is used).
6. The header image. Selectable from a library of header images.
7. The content background colour.
8. The content text colour.
9. The page title alignment. i.e. Left, centre, or right.
10. The alignment of images on the Home, About and “Other” pages. i.e. Image on the left with text on the right, or image on the right with text on the left.

The Contact page

The Pozz contact page displays all of the following information. Fields that aren’t used are not displayed on the Contact page: -

1. Phone number.
2. Fax number.
3. Cell number.
4. Alternate number.
5. Email address. Can be set to so that it can’t be viewed by the public.
6. GPS coordinates.
7. Physical address.
8. Postal address.
9. Directions.
10. The contact page can be manually enabled or disabled.

Home, About and “Other” page configuration

1. The “Other” page can be titled to meet your needs.
2. The “Other” page can be manually enabled or disabled.
3. Each page can have its own captioned image.
4. The content of the Home, About and “Other” pages is limited to 64 000 characters.
5. TinyMCE is provided to edit content for each of these pages, and it allows any of the following attributes to be set: -
   • Bold text
   • Italic text
   • Underlined text
   • Text colour
   • Text background colour
   • Left aligned text
   • Centre aligned text
   • Right aligned text
   • Ordered list
   • Unordered list
